Willow Boatneck Top is a modern and fitted top featuring a wide boat neckline and short integrated sleeves. The top has a simple and feminine look with an elegant silhouette, making it both versatile and easy to style. The wide and elastic boat neckline allows the top to be worn traditionally as a boatneck or slightly off shoulder.
The top is worked from the bottom up. First, the body is worked in the round in stockinette stitch until the work is divided into a front and back piece. Both sections are then worked flat in stockinette stitch. Stitches are cast on at each side of the work using a loop cast-on to create the sleeves and the wide silhouette of the boat neckline. The shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind off, and the sides under the sleeves are sewn together using mattress stitch.
